The present investigation was undertaken to study the availability of leisure time of employed and unemployed homemakers in Parbhani. The data was collected through survey, administering personal interview method. A simple random sampling method was adopted to select the 120 homemakers in the age groups of 20 to 40 years from the group of employed and unemployed each thus constituting a total sample size of the 240. It was observed that average time spent by both the groups of homemakers was nearly same for each activities. More help was received by employed homemakers in performing household activities than unemployed homemakers. There was a significant difference between two groups for help taken from daughter. And highly significant difference was found between two groups for help taken from cooks. On holidays, both employed and unemployed homemakers availed, almost same amount of leisure time on average.
