An analytical survey of the average deviation from PFA standards in microbiological quality within the brands of milk powders manufactured in haryana and sold in local markets was conducted. The samples of PSMP 61.87 and 54.71 per cent while SMP 61.06 and 44.4 per cent met the PFA standards for SPC and coliform count. rcspectively
