The study on existing dairy extension systems perceived by Directors, Deputy Directors of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Chief Velerinary Officers, Managing Directors, General Managers and Managers in dissemination of information regarding dairy extension systems was conducted in twenty five State of India. The main extension systems studied were the State Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying Extension System, Indian Council of Agricultural Research Extension System, State Agricultural Universities Extension System, Non-Governmental Organization Extension System and Diary Federation/Union Extension System. In all the five systems, the State Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying Extension System and Indian Council of Agricultural Rescarch Extension System were found to be more effective in the country.
