Decision making pattern of rural women was studied in Etawash district of Uttar Pradesh. One hundred and fifty rural women were personally interviewed to understand their decision making pattern relating to feeding, breeding, health cere, milk product making, marketing and management related activities of goat enterprise. The findings revealed that decision regarding feeding, breeding and marketing related activities were mostly taken independently by their respective supouse. Women were sole decision makers in milk product making and management by respondents and their spouse. Women were mainly taking independent decision in those activities in which they were more employed in goat husbandry activities compared to the male members of the family.
