Under present study effort was made to assess the perceived training needs and training need index among beneficiary and non-beneficiary farmers of IMDP. The results reflected greater need perception for training by non-beneficiaries than the beneficiaries. Beneficiary farmers being covered under IMDP were more acquainted with know-how in scientific dairy farming. This demands extensive coverage of farmers under IMDP.
