Studies were conducted to find out the training needs of farm women of Bhopal district. Ten villages from two blocks of Bhopal district were selected. The findings revealed that majority of the farmers were taking very low protein in their diet. Therefore, the training regarding “Preparation on Nutritious Soy Based Food Products at Domestic Level” was imparted and the effectiveness of training was studied. It was found that before training all respondents know nothing about the soybean but after training the respondents learn about soy products and 7 out of 10 adopted it as domestic occupation. The results show that most trainees suggested to introduce local recipes of their areas.
