The study was based on 20 years (1981–2000) data on growth and reproductive records of 379 Fogera cattle and their 428 F1 crosses (Friesian x Fogera) maintained at Andassa Cattle and Poultry Breeding Center, Andassa, Amhara region, Ethiopia. The BW, WWT and AFS were significantly (P 0.01) varied in Fogera cattle from their F1 (Friesian x Fogera) crossbred cattle. The period of birth had a significant effect (P 0.01) on all the traits except AFC in Fogera cattle. The seasonal differences were found significant for BW, WWT. AFS and AFCON i Fogera cattle, wherea the same were found significant for BW, WWT and PWDBWG in F1 (Friesian x.Fogera) crossbred cattle. The least-squares means of BW, WWT, PWDBWG, AFS, AECON were estimated as 21.24 kg, 97.03 kg, 0.32 gm, 1338.93 days and 1360.47 days for Fogera cattle and 25.10 kg, 117.45 kg, 0.38gm, 1088.50 days and 1113.57 days for F1 (Friesian x Fogera) crossbred cattle. The least-squares mean of AFC was found 1616.87 days in Fogera cattle.
