The study was conducted in adopted villages of TAR/IVIP, NDRI in the district of Karnal, to identify the major constraints faced by dairy farmers in adoption of improved dairy farming practices. It was found that, the high cost and non availability of quality feeds, low conception rate, repeat breeding, non-availability of vaccines, high cost of veterinary medicine, problems of mastitis in crossbred animals, non availability and high cost of fodder seeds were major constraints faced by dairy farmers in adoption of improved dairy farmning practices.
