The study was conducted to determine the effect of aerobics on blood pressure, BMI and lipid profile of 80 subjects, taking 20 each from the four categories viz. obese male, obese female, normal male and normal female of age 20-40 years. Aerobic exercise brought about an observable improvement in obese subjects in respect to their blood pressure, BMI and lipid profile by reducing and bringing these values much nearer to safe limits with increase in HDL-C levels after two months of aerobic schedule.
