The information collected from 105 rural and 105 urban families of Parbhani district revealed that generally tailormade clothes were used fro making adults wardrobe while readymade clothes for children's wardrobe. A majority of rural and urban families made their clothes purchases from local shops and nearby town. A high percentage of rural families encountered a variety of problems in making family wardrobe as compared to the urban families.
