Abstract

The present study was undertaken in Lab. Nursery school college of Home Science M.A.U. Parbhani to correlate the academic performance and their selected back-ground variables. It was found that sending young children regularly to the nursery school, motivating and encourdging them to do nursery school work properly at school and home, help child to acquire the developmental milestones and taking proper efforts to supervise child's academic performance at nursery school. As the early childhood years are the true foundation years for later development of the individuals, nursery education of the children and their performance in it must be well taken care of by the parents
