The effect of 50 combinations of thiocyanate (SCN) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) ranging from 10 to 70 ppm SCN and 10 to 70 ppm H2O2 were studied to obtain the optimum levels required to preserve raw goat milk at 35±1°C by LP-system. Best results were obtained with LP system activated at lower levels of 25:20 ppm (SCN: H2O2) and may be recommended for raw goat milk preservation upto 12 h at 35±1°C. LP-system activated at higher levels of SCN: H2O2 or lowering of H2O2 levei at higher levels of SCN showed no improvement in the keeping quality of raw goat milk.
