Fruit thinning by hand and growth regulator had shown significant response in improving the fruit quality. In hand thinning treatments, retention of 600 fruits/tree showed significantly superior quality fruits than 1400, 1200, 1000 and 800 fruit/tree. In respect of growth regulator spray treatments, spraying of NAA (350 ppm) at pea size stage showed significantly superior quality fruits than NAA (300 ppm, 400 ppm) and Ethapon (200 ppm).
