An editor is the most important person in the process of journal publishing. He is responsible for taking care of all the minor intricacies and other important factors to enhance a journal. He also holds the responsibility towards an author and other members to assist them in forming an article.

Plus, he makes sure whether the appropriate papers for the journal have been submitted or there is a requirement for an additional manuscript from the author.

In case an extra manuscript is needed for the journal, he helps the author with the same. The main job of the editor is to introduce his best knowledge to a particular field of publishing while also striking a proper balance among other important factors of the journal.

Therefore, ARCC journals give importance to the role of editors as it is the only method of ensuring the quality of the journal by making fruitful relations with author, reviewers and adhere to high value responsibilities towards Editorial Board Members.

In this step, the papers go under some serious scrutinizing at the time of their submission. It is determined whether the findings of the scientific works are suitable and sufficient for publishing a journal or not. Then the editor checks again for any errors in the intellectual property.

Therefore, it’s mandatory to determine that the content of the manuscripts has an appropriate table, a proper structure, figures, and sufficient references in a professional manner.

The contents of the paper that need to be presented in the journal are cross-checked with the accurate guidelines of the journal. These guidelines are then strictly followed for a world-class publication. In short, it is made sure that the articles aren’t rejected at the time of their publication.

At ARCC, the editors are also given the responsibility to send the manuscript to available peer-reviewers. Once the editors makes sure that the papers or the manuscripts have all the necessary details, high-quality content, and proper formatting, the real process of the peer-review begins.

The submitted papers/manuscripts by the author are then sent to the peer reviewers. Now the important task is to find and appoint experienced peers for this process. ARCC have an expertise panel of more than 5000 professionals from all over the world in various subjects.

Also, skilled experts are given the job of reviewing the articles in a timely and proper manner so that they can give their unbiased and valued feedback. The journal editors must utilize their potential for proper reviewing as it is an indispensable part of the publication process.

The editor demands the reports of the papers from the expert reviewers. Once they are submitted, the editor makes a proper assessment to determine whether the documents formed by the author include accurate scholarly studies or not.

If the need arises, he can also ask the reviewers for further help on the information he got from them.
