All ARCC journal publications are open access and are free for anyone to read and download all over the world, immediately upon publication that subject to an article processing charge (APC) upon acceptance. This charge covers the costs of turning a manuscript into a published article through peer-review process, editorial work, technical infrastructure as well as the costs of hosting, distributing, indexing and promoting an article.

APCs may be paid by the author, the author’s institution, or a funding agency.

We are committed to making the costs of publishing as clear as possible. The article processing charge for each journal is displayed on its journal homepage.

When a manuscript is submitted, it passes through the many different stages at ARCC to ensure the first assessment of Editor (quality checks), peer review, revision, production, publication and promotion of the manuscript is carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard which takes time and cost for maintaining quality and standards of the journals.

  • Editorial Screening - Editor perform the initial assessment and quality checks

  • Peer Review Process – reviewers work with the Editors to manage the peer-review process

  • Article Revision – Revised article submitted by author for second round of review process and editor approval.

  • Editorial Final Approval - Editors perform a final check to ensure that the manuscript and its review process adhere to the journal's guidelines and policies.

  • Article Composing – We further design and convert the manuscript to a professionally typeset article and formatted XML

  • Reprints/Proofing – Reprints/galley proof sent to the author for final approval through ARCC online web application.

  • APC – Author need to remit the APC after final approval from the editor for further processing.

  • Online Publication / DOI Generation – DOI generated through Crossref and article processed further for online publication with DOI.

  • Complete Publication – Final publication of article completed with volume, issue and page number.

Journal Development – ARCC team ensure that journals are indexed as widely as possible through indexing and social platforms so that the articles receive the attention they deserve.

The actual processing charge varies depending on the journal in which an article is processed. Some journals are more expensive due to the volume of submissions they receive.

ARCC Journals have different publication model that helps author to choose according to the publication time, irrespective of the publishing model chosen by the author, our goal is to ensure articles are published as quickly as possible, subject to appropriate quality controls, and widely disseminated.
