A replicated field trial was conducted during rabi 1993–94. Highest seed yield of 9.77 q/ha was obtained from plots receiving three sprays of Acephale 75 SP @ 0.05% at 20, 40 and 60 days after sowing as compared to 5.09 q/ha from untreated plot. It was found that there was a loss of 1.71 and 0.1726 q/ha of seed yield for every 1% increase in plant damage index and siliqua infestation respectively. From the relationship of mean larval population with grain yield the economic threshold level was estimated as 2.46 larvae per plant.
