A field experiment was conducted during Rabi seasons of 1998 and 1999 to study the effect of fertilizer levels, organic manures and biofertilizer alongwith organic spray on the yield of wheat under blackgram - wheat - greengram system. Hundred per cent RDF level increased the yield parameters and yield of wheat over 33% RDF which in turn was significantly superior over control. With regard to yield of wheat, the combination of poultry manure (0.5 t ha −1) and farm compost (5 t ha −1) alongwith 33% RDF showed statistical parity with 100% RDF. Similarly, the interaction between organic manure and biofertilizer and/or organic spray showed increase in yield. The soil organic carbon showed increased values of upto 0.586% as a result of application of farm compost (5 t ha −1) in combination with poultry manure (0.5 tha −1) or vermicompost (1 tha −1)
