ABSTRACT
Experiments were conclucted to study the effect of growth regulators (GA 3 and IMM) on germination, growth and yield of kuth. Seed soaking treatments of GA 3 and IM stimulated germination per cent, plant height, leaves per plant, root length, fresh and dry weight of roots. Maximum increase was obtained in all these traits at 200 ppm of GA 3 and 300 ppm of IM. Comparing two growth regulators, GA 3 was found to be significantly superior to improve root and shoot growth, while IM was effective in promoting fresh and dry weight of roots in kuth which is of economic importance
