SALINITY REGIONALIZATION WITH GEOSTATISTIC METHOD IN A WET SOIL IN SOUTHERN LENJAN-ISFAHAN (IRAN)
1Soil Science Department, Faculty of Agriculture,
Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan Province, Iran
ABSTRACT
Due to high soil salinity and sodicity variations, mean value for wet soil samples might not represent distribution center. Soil samples from 0-0.2, 0.2-0.5 and 0.5-1.0 m depths obtained with 25 m intervals from a plot (250 m by 300 m) with ground water 0.65 m below the soil surface. Regional variation for salinity and sodicity was investigated. With median for electrical conductivity and sodium adsorption ratio, soils are non-saline, non-sodic. These would be saline and sodic considering means.
