Technology dissimination  and  adoption of sericulture technology by the farmers of  Chittoor District - A case study

The study was undertaken in two mandals of Chittoor district of Andhrapradesh with the objective to find out the level of adoption of recommended sericultural practices based on their personal, socio-economic conditions denotes the level of adoption. Technological innovations and adoption of improved technologies in the field of sericulture helps the farmers to increase their production and income. The present study revealed that the farmers those who had good education, experience and having more extension contact they are getting high income by the adoption of  improved technologies of sericulture.
