Field experiments were conducted from 1994 to 1996. There was a negative correlation between the weed population, weed DMP with the soybean yield. The nutrient removal by weeds was also negatively correlated with the nutrient uputake of soybean. Significant positive correlation was exhibited between the yield attributes and the yield of soybean in all the seasons.
