Effect of varying levels of both phosphorus (0, 30, 60, 120 kg P2O5 ha−1) and sulphur (0, 20, 40, 80 kg. SO4 ha−1) in combination was studied on yield and P and S contents of moongbean crop. Highest grain and straw yields were recorded in the treatment receiving 120 kg P2O5+ 80 kg SO4 ha−l. Simultaneous application of P and S also increased the contents of both the nutrients in grain as well as straw of moongbean. Effect of P x 5 interaction was significant. Balanced application of P and S is necessary for improving yield through better absorption and assimilation of both the nutrients.
