ABSTRACT
Out of various selection indices constructed for yield in determinate pigeonpea, using nineteen genotypes, only the selection index including racemes/plant + flowers/plant + pods/plant + days to flowering + plant height was found to be the best as expected genetic gain of 124.69% over
