Genotype x environment interaction was studied for seed yield and seed quality parameters in 19 genotypes of chickpea under fodr different environments. Significant genotype (G) and environment (E) interaction was observed. Both linear and non linear components of G x E interaction were significant, linear component being the predominant. On the basis of stability parameters of seed yield two genotypes Phule G-12 and Vishal showed their suitability for wider cultivation. For seed quality parameters, the genotype Vijay showed above average stability and Vishal indicated average stability for germination percentage and seedling vigour index.
