A field study was conducted during kharif 1997–1999 to study the response of confectionery groundnut variety ICGV 86564 to micronutrients. The pooled results revealed that application of zinc sulphate, borax and ferrous sulphate either alone or in combination registered significant and maximum values of growth and yield attributes and pod yield of groundnut over control. Among the different treatments, combined application of zinc sulphate @ 5 kg ha−l + borax @ 5 kg ha−l + ferrous sulphate @ 10 kg ha−1 significantly recorded the maximum pod yield of 2209 kg ha−1 which is 23.6% increase over control. The maximum net return of 20085 ha−1 and a benefit cost ratio of 1.53 was also observed with the same treatment.
