Thirty six genetically diverse genotypes of chickpea were evaluated for genotypic and pheno typic variabilities, heritability and genetic advance in 16 quantitative attributes. Highest genotypic variability was expressed by 100 seed weight followed by seed yield Per plant, biological yield, secondary branches per plant and seeds per plant. 100 seed weight also exhibited high genetic advance with high amount of heritability.
