COMPARISON OF THE PROTEIN PROFILES OF FOUR BEAN CULTIVARS (PHASEOLUS VULGARIS L.) SUBJECTED TO LOW NUTRIENT LEVEL: A PRELIMINARY STUDY. Legume Research. 24(2): . doi: .
The protein profiles of four bean cultivars tolerant-Flor de mayo and Laguna; and susceptible garbancillo and pinamerpa to low nutrient medium were determined with the help of polyacrilarnide gel electrophoresis. The results obtained showed that a specific protein of 48 kDa was present in higher concentrations in tolerant cultivars.
