Thirteen genotypes of greengram were studied during 1997 for seven characters. Association analysis revealed that pods per plant, days to maturity, plant height, 100-seed weight, seeds per pod and pod length showed significant and positive association with seed yield. Pods per plant and seeds per pod had maximum positive direct effect on seed yield. Days to maturity, clusters per plant, plant height, 100-seed weight and seeds per pod exhibited high indirect effect on seed yield via pods per plant
