Genotypic coefficents off variations (GCV), heritabilisy and genetic advance were assessed in 17 diverse genotypes of greengram. Genotypes different significantly for all the characters studied except 100-seeds weight. Most of the characters showed hight heritability values. Seeds yield expressed high genetic advance coupled with high heritability and GCV indicating thereby the prepondance of addative gene effects for this trait.
