Investigations on seasonal incidence in relation to the application of different doses of fertilizers against gram pod borer (Heliothis armigera) infesting chickpea were carried out. The infestation of borer was observed from second week of February to the last week of March being maximum in the first week of March, increasing levels of nitrogen increased the pest population. The effect of phosphorous on the incidence was found non-significant. The increasing levels of potash showed declining trend in the pest incidence.
