One mixture 'M13 + Robut 33- 1′ outyielded the other fourteen mixtures involving varieties namely M13, Robut 33-1,JL-24, GG-11, G201 and Girnar, Further, M13 and Robut 33-1 have yielded higher in mixtures in comparison to that grown in pure stand, This suggested raising of varietal mixture(s) instead of pure line varieties in order to maximize yield in groundnut. There is also a variety GG-11 that outyielded the mixtures, This then suggests a need for conducting such trials in order to isolate the best mixture and the best variety.
