An experiment with fifty genotypes of mung bean was conducted to study the association and path coefficients of different quantitative characters with grain yield. Highly significant positive correlation of grain yield was observed with harvest index, biological yield/plant, pods/plant and pods/cluster Path coefficient analysis revealed that clusters/plant exhibited maximum direct effect tollowed by pods/cluster and biological yield/plant on grain yield. Hence selection based on these characters would bring an improvement in grain yield in mung bean.
