A field experiment was conducted during the winter seasons of 1995–96 and 1996–97 at Varanasi with two irrigation levels as main plots and five micronutrient treatments as subplots on sandy loam soils. The crop which received folir irrigations at 25, 50,75 and 100 DAS (Days after sowing) coinciding the critical stages and FeSO4 @ 5kg ha−1 or ZnSO4 @ 5 kg ha−1 together showed i1n improvement in yield attributes and yield of rajmash. An additional yield of 614 and 582kgha−1was obtained over control with four irrigations and FeSO4/ZnSO4 @5 kg ha−1
