A field trial was conducted during 1985 to 1995. Application of FYM @ 10 t ha−1 significantly improved fodder yield of groundnut as well as organic carbon, available phosphorus, potash and sulphur status of post harvest soil. However, pod yield remained almost unaffected. Phosphorus fertilization was found beneficial in case of organic carbon and available P content in soil while it could not remarkably improve pod as well as fodder yield of groundnut.
