Twenty diverse genotypes of gulabi chickpea were evaluated for developmental traits, pod bearing length, seed yield biological yield, harvest index and 100 seed weight. Substantial variability was observed for these characters. Maximum variability was observed for pod bearing length, plant height and 100 seed weight. Association analysis revealed the positive correlation of days to 50% flowering and 100 seed weight with seed yield. Path coefficient analysis of various characters affecting the seed yield indicated the direct contribution of days to maturity, plant height and 100 seed weight. Multivariate linear regression analysis indicated the maximum contribution of 49% by days to maturity, period from flowering to maturity, plant height and 100 seed weight.
