A field experiment was conducted to understand the influence of follar spray of saBcylic acid (100 ppm) mepiquat chloride (125 ppm) and NM (40 ppm) on certain physiological and biochemical aspects of green gram vars VBN-l. Results of this experiment indicated that salicylic acid (100 ppm) and NM (40 ppm) were significantly increased the soluble protein. chlorophyll and reducing sugar contents and NRase activityandthe N. P and K contents were also increased in stem, root and leaves of green gram due to this two treatments.
