Field experiments were conducted with two plant growth regulators and their combination on growth, physiology and yield of b1ackgram. Planofix a plant growth promoter, chamatkar growth retardant and their combinations were tried. Observations on morphological, physiological, growth and yield parameters were recorded. The experimental results showed that combined application of planofix @ 30 ppm on 30 and 45 DAS and chamatkar @ 120 ppm on 60 DAS recorded increased yield by 25% more than the control.
