A wide range of variability was observed for plant height, clusters per plant, pods per plant, grain yield per plant and 100 grain weight. The estimates of genotypic as well phenotypic coefficients of variation were highest for pods per plant followed by 100 grain weight. High heritability coupled with high genetic advance was observed for clusters per plant, pods per plant, grain yield and 100 grain weight indicating that these characters can be improved by selection.
