In pulse seed storage severe damage is caused by pulse beetle (Callosobruchus maculatus). To avoid damage due to pulse beetle some of the treatments were tried for effective bruchid management in greengram cv. CO 6 seeds in storage. Among aU treatments tried, seeds treated with neem oil @ 10 ml kg−1} and seed treated with thiram @ 2g kg−1 were found to be effective to protect seeds from Callosobruchus maculatus infestation.
