A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural Research Station, Dhari (Gujarat) during
kharif 2001-2004 to study the effect of sulphur application on yield of groundnut and soil fertility
under rainfed agriculture. Maximum pod yield (1914 kg ha-1) as well as net realization (Rs.
25360 ha-1) were recorded with application of sulphur through SOP in addition to recommend
dose of fertilizer (12.5: 25 kg NP ha-1). The available potassium and sulphur status after harvesting
of crop were significantly affected due to different treatments
