High PCV and GCV were recorded for the characters effective tillers per plant, grains per ear, grain yield per ear and grain yield per plant in all the four environments. High heritability along with high estimatei of genetic advance as percentage of mean were recorded for the characters plant height and grain yield per ear under both the saline environments (E 1 and E 3 while for the characters effective tillers per plant, grains per ear and grain yield per plant under both the normal environments (E 2 and E 4).
