Sunnhempcrop sown after onset of monsoon (June) showed heavy incidence of uniform intervenal leaf yellowing (soil pH 8.2). Symptom started in the older leaves approximately after 40–50 days of sowing and afterwards younger leaves were also affected irrespective of variety. Mid April sown crop was almost free from such symptoms and yielded ptore dry fibre (6 q/ha) than June sown crop (3–4 q/ha). Initial trial on soil application of boron, zinc, iron and, soil and foliar application of megnesium and manganese did not showed any response on the disease.
