Two hundred germplasm lines of mungbean alongwith 6 commercial check varieties of mungbean were evaluated over four diverse environments to identify high yielding and stable genotypes for seed yield/plant. Variances due to genotype, environment, genotype x envirorunent, environment + (genotype x environment), genotype x environment (linear), environment (linear) and pooled deviation were significant for seed yield/plant. On the basis of stability analysis genotypes, showing above and below average stability along with higher mean values were PLM-566, PLM-84, K-851, PLM-117, PS-I05, PLM-94, IC-2593-5, PLM-648, IC-669-3, IC-9121-5, PLM-427, PLM-30, PLM-182, PLM-477, PLM156, Pusa baisakhi, PLM-237, PLM-588 and PLM-303-2. These genotypes win be useful in breeding programme to evolve stable and high Yielding variation of mungbean.
