Correlation and path analysis of 15 F2 crosses derived from 6 × 6 diallel cross in urdbean revealed that seed yield/plant was positively and significantly associated with pods/plant, clusters/plant, seeds/pod, 100-seed weight and biomass. Pods/plant exerted the highest direct effect on seed yield followed by seeds/pod. The selection criteria based on pods/plant, clusters/plant, seeds/pod, 100-seed weight, days to maturity and plant height will give fruitful results for yield improvement in urdbean.
