Seeds of cluster bean cv. Pusa Navbhagar were film coated with green colour polymer with different coating formulations of dry coating (3 g kg-1), slurry coating (3 g kg-1 of polykote dissolved in 5 ml of water) and polykote with inclusion of bavistin (2 g kg-1) and halogen mixture (3 g kg-1) and were sown in different water holding capacities viz., 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 per cent and were evaluated for seed quality characters in sand medium along with control seeds .The results of the study inferred that, polycoating serves as a tool to manage high and low moisture situations and the efficacy could be improved by the inclusion of bavistin.
