The udder of crossbred cows was screened by CMT for the detection of sub-clinical and clinical mastitis and bacteria incidence was determined. The milk samples were tested for the bacteria type and milk compositional changes viz., chloride, lactose, EC, pH and somatic cell count (SCC) was determined.  Four types of bacteria incidence namely S. aureus, S. aglactiae, E. coli, E. faecalis was characterized with incidence of 30, 30, 30 and 10, and 30, 30, 10 and 20 per cent in sub-clinical and clinical milk samples.
