An attempt was made to study the difference in various reproductive traits of all live born litter carried dams and mixed litter (live and still) carried dams. The incidence of still births significantly affected the duration of second stage of farrowing and placental weight per piglet. The dam, carried all live born piglets, had shorter duration of second stage of farrowing and heavier placental weight. There was no significant difference in other reproductive characteristics.
