EVALUATION OF MILK CONSTITUENTS AND QUALITY UNDER MACHINE MILKING COWS

ABSTRACT
For present investigation, 40 cows maintained under loose housing system were included to study the effect of various factors on the quality of milk. The fat, SNF and TBC were lower in MMC (4.21, 8.55 and 11.40 × 104) than HMC (4.45, 8.74 and 13.90 × 104) respectively. While TLC and EPC were higher in MMC (13.80 × 104) and 4.80 × 104) than HMC (11.50 × 104) and 4.40 × 104) respectively. The effect of methods of milking was significant (P
