The pre-partum body measurements and skin-fold-thickness of thirty six crossbred dairy heifers were used for predicting the body weight. An the parameters showed significant correlation with body weight throughout the end trimestet of pregnancy. Amongst them, body measurements had very high (P< 0.01) and positive correlation with body weight. The best prediction equation was also developed for body weight with 70% precision.
