Abstract

A few reports on internal parasites particularly the blood parasites in serpentines are available.
Presence of haemogregarines in the blood smear from Guindy Snake Park Trust, Tamilnadu is reported.
The morphological characters of haemogregarines encountered and the need for routine examination
of blood samples of serpentine species are emphasized.
